Covelano Marmi is participating as an active organiser in the international marble symposium "Vinschgau kristallin", which will take place from 13 July 2024 to 4 August 2024 in the two municipalities of Schlanders and Laas. The two municipalities are jointly organising this new, internationally oriented marble event in collaboration with the local authorities of Covelano and Lasa, as well as the two quarry operators Lasa Marmo and Covelano Marmi, under the auspices of the Silandro-Laas Tourism Association. The "Vinschgau kristallin" marble symposium is a marble-themed event open to all interested parties with a three-week marble sculpture workshop and will take place from 13 July to 4 August 2024 in Lasa/Laas and Silandro/Schlanders.
58 artists from 4 continents and over 20 countries have registered for the the first International Marble Symposium South Tyrol "VINSCHGAU kristallin". The sculptors Yang Liu (China), Noemí Palacios (Spain), Josef Pleier (Germany), Olena Dodatko (Ukraine), Alessandro Kanu (Italy) and Fernando Pinto (Colombia) as well as the "skaters" Martin Böttcher & Corinna Zuercher (Germany) and Johannes Kroeker & Elias Nunne (Germany). The sculptures will be accompanied by a colourful supporting programme of numerous organisers such as Schlanders Marketing, Marmor Plus, the technical school for stone processing of Lasa, Vi.P, various associations and organisations, as well as private initiators.
